Vacation Bible Camp is held for 1 week each summer with children, ages 4 to 10, coming together for fun, friendship and learning. Each summer we take a different adventure. In the past, with the help of our imaginations, we have gone to the circus, taken a trip on the railway and explored the Great Bible Reef. Each morning we join as a group for a short message, some songs and a skit introducing the day’s Bible story. We then break into age groups and enjoy some stories, activities and crafts. We take a special musical break where we learn some great songs. Last, but not least, we have snack time where we feast on yummy, nutritious snacks donated by the people of the church. We close the morning with some singing, and then enjoy an activity or game. The finale to our week is our concert for family and friends, where we show off the songs we’ve learned!
