Thursday, February 23 (Black History Month) We pray for Black Canadian women and youth organizations, and we give thanks for the many ways these organizations promote equality, human rights and inclusiveness.

Wednesday, February 22 (Ash Wednesday) Loving God, you hate nothing you have made, and your grace knows no bounds. You created us for yourself, and our hearts are restless until they find their rest in you. Create in us clean hearts and turn us around to follow you more nearly.

Monday, February 20 (World Day of Social Justice) We give thanks for human rights defenders who work to protect the rights, safety and dignity of all people.

Saturday, February 18 We pray for people around the world who are facing severe hunger, and we give thanks for the food assistance provided by Presbyterian World Service & Development and their partners, with support from the PCC.

 

Friday, February 17 We pray for the people, ministries and mission of the Presbytery of Pictou in Nova Scotia.

Thursday, February 16 We pray for congregations that may be experiencing conflict and give thanks for the presbyteries assisting and guiding them.

Wednesday, February 15 (Black History Month) We pray for systemic change that eradicates anti-Black racism and builds a society that prioritizes the well-being and advancement of Black Canadians.

Tuesday, February 14 We pray for the people who gather and serve at Winnipeg Inner City Missions in Manitoba, and we give thanks for their ministry.

Monday, February 13 We pray for congregations exploring ways to better support and include LGBTQI2+ people and their loved ones within their communities.
