Friday, July 28 We pray for Indigenous communities that live with the consequences of Typhoon Morakot in Taiwan in 2009.

Thursday, July 27 We pray for the summer school at the Vancouver School of Theology, that learning will inspire, encourage and renew leaders in their service to the gospel.

Wednesday, July 26 We pray for congregations that do not have the resources to call a minister. May God be their refuge and strength while sessions and presbyteries search out new models for providing pastoral care.

 

Tuesday, July 25 We pray for Cedar Tree Ministries, an outreach ministry for Indigenous people on Vancouver Island, and the Rev. Yong Wan (Joey) Cho.

Monday, July 24 We pray for the grace to use our gifts, whether speaking or serving, to bring glory to God and to minister to others as faithful stewards.

Saturday, July 22 We pray for the children and spouses of ministers.

Friday, July 21 We pray for ministers and lay preachers who seek to help us understand what the Spirit is saying to the Church.

Thursday, July 20 We pray for children and young adults at camp, and for the counsellors and camp staff who ensure their safety and provide guidance and care.

Wednesday, July 19 We pray for chaplains in hospitals and long-term care homes as they provide comfort, offer hope and minister during moments that matter.

Tuesday, July 18 We pray for the Rev. Mary Fontaine as she begins serving the PCC as Moderator of the General Assembly.
