Thursday, September 21 (International Day of Prayer for Peace) We pray for peace worldwide, and for world leaders, as well as for PWS&D partners providing life-saving aid and emotional support to families suffering the terrifying consequences of war.

 

Wednesday, September 20 We pray for international students who are far from home and family. Pray that they will be comforted in times of loneliness and for encouragement as they strive for success in their studies.

Tuesday, September 19 We pray for those who are grieving the loss of loved ones, especially during this time of lingering post-pandemic challenges. May they find comfort and peace in the knowledge of God’s eternal love and presence

Monday, September 18 We pray for the Ecumenical & Interfaith Relations Committee and its convenor, Laura Lee Campbell.

Sunday, September 17 We give thanks for the Northern New Brunswick Regional Ministry and pray that they continue to find new ways of meeting the physical and spiritual needs within their diverse communities.

Friday, September 15 We pray for all of the students attending the church’s theological colleges. May God grant them strength, clarity of mind and the ability to balance all aspects of their busy lives.

 

Thursday, September 14 We pray for the congregation of St. Andrew’s (Ancaster) as they work through the PCC’s New Beginnings Renewal Program to discern their next steps in ministry.

 

 

 

 

Wednesday, September 13 We pray for the people, ministries and mission of the Presbytery of East Toronto.

Tuesday, September 12 We pray for all those who are struggling with addiction and related mental health issues, and for their families and loved ones. May they find the support, care and resources they need to heal and recover.

Monday, September 11 We pray for musicians as they help lead the church in praise.
