Saturday, May 27 We pray for commissioners of the 2023 General Assembly as they prepare to consider, discuss and make decisions about the ministry of The Presbyterian Church in Canada.

Friday, May 26 We pray for the people, ministries and mission of the Presbytery of Brampton in Ontario.

Monday, May 22 We give thanks for Presbyterian World Service & Development’s partners who work hard to ensure a quality education and a better future for girls in Malawi.

Saturday, May 20 We pray for the people who gather and serve at the Anamiewigummig Fellowship Centre in Kenora, Ontario, and we give thanks for their ministry.

Friday, May 19 We pray for the members and ministry of the National Indigenous Ministries Council.

Thursday, May 18 (Ascension Day) Almighty God, before Christ ascended into heaven, he told the apostles to be his witnesses “to the ends of the earth” when they received the Spirit (Acts 1:8). May we also be inspired to spread the good news of Christ in word and action, and to do so wisely, joyfully, graciously and with God’s guidance.

Wednesday, May 17 (International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia) We pray for an end to all forms of hatred and discrimination that target LGBTQI2+ people. We commit to working for the collective safety and flourishing of all people.

Tuesday, May 16 We pray for people participating in the 2023 Encouragement Conference at The Presbyterian College in Montreal, Quebec (May 16–18). May all the participants experience God’s blessing.

Monday, May 15 We pray that the records held by The Presbyterian Church in Canada Archives will be useful to ongoing efforts of healing and reconciliation.

Friday, May 12 We pray for the members and work of the Committee on History.
