Saturday, May 13 We celebrate and thank God for all the students graduating from the PCC’s theological colleges this May. We pray for God’s guidance as they discern their futures and embark on their next steps in ministry.

We pray for the members and work of the Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations Committee.

Saturday, May 6 We give thanks for all the many ways people generously give their time and talent to the church.

Friday, May 5 We pray that members of the Atlantic Mission Society and Women’s Missionary Society experience joy in all they have accomplished and find ways to continue their missions both locally and abroad.

Thursday, May 4 We pray for congregations going through transitions. May they be patient and open to seeing and acting on God’s will when times are challenging.

 

Wednesday, May 3 We pray for the candidates for ministry and guidance counsellors as they faithfully engage in the shared process of vocational discernment during Guidance Conference this week.

Monday, May 1 (Asian Heritage Month) We give thanks for the rich contributions of people of Asian descent to the church.

Sunday, April 30 On Mission Awareness Sunday, we pray for members of the Atlantic Mission Society and Women’s Missionary Society who are leading worship services in their congregations.

Saturday, April 29 We pray for the Rev. Jim Biggs, clerk for the Synod of Central, Northeastern Ontario and Bermuda.

Friday, April 28 We give thanks for the Rev. Watan Yawi, the Rev. Dr. Paul McLean and the Tayal translation team of the Bible Society in Taiwan as they celebrate the publication of the Tayal Bible.
