Potluck supper in the Hall, to gather by 5 p.m.  This will give all an opportunity to meet and chat with Krishna Durbha and his family, and them with all of us.  It is suggested that folks can bring a casserole, or a salad or a dessert.  We hope that you will be able to join us.

Sunday, July 20 We give thanks for the generosity of congregations as they support the mission and ministry of The Presbyterian Church in Canada through their gifts to Presbyterians Sharing.

Friday, July 18 We praise God that women in Guatemala who participate in PWS&D-supported workshops are learning skills that develop their self-esteem and equip them to participate politically in their communities.

Thursday, July 17 We pray for people affected by dementia and their caregivers, that they would know God’s love as they navigate a world of uncertainty.

Saturday, July 12 God of Hope, we praise you. We ask for hope for the future in these troubling times.

Thursday, July 10 We pray that God will guide us in truth and teach us.

Tuesday, July 8 We pray for students who are far from their families this summer. May their sense of God’s presence comfort them during times when they feel alone and far from home.

Monday, July 7 We pray for PCC young adults participating in the I Love Taiwan Mission program, an annual summer program of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan.

Sunday, July 6 We give thanks for the leadership that the Rev. Jeffrey Murray, Moderator of the 150th General Assembly, provided during the meetings of the Assembly and ask God’s blessing upon him as he begins his term as Moderator

Saturday, July 5 We pray for the eight ministries of the National Indigenous Ministries Council; for the important work of healing that is done in each of the ministries and for the Council as a whole and the work it does as a Standing Committee of the church.
